Here are some of the things to see in November:
- 5 AM, eastern sky – Venus, Mars and Jupiter gathering together before dawn, joined by the Moon on November 7
- 9 PM, southern and southeastern sky – the zodiac constellations Pisces, with the Circlet of Pisces asterism, and Aries, with the bright stars Hamal, Sheratan and Mesarthim
- 9 PM, southeastern sky – Triangulum constellation with the famous Triangulum Galaxy (M33), visible with binoculars
- 2 AM, eastern sky – Leonid meteor shower, generated by the comet Tempel-Tuttle, peaking on the night of November 17 to 18 with up to 40 meteors per hour
