- 9 PM, southwestern sky – Mars and Saturn still appearing close together in the evening and moving further apart toward the end of the month
- 6:15 AM, eastern sky – Mercury briefly appears above the horizon before sunrise late in the month
- 11 PM, southern sky – Aquarius constellation with the Y-shaped Water Jar asterism and the compact globular cluster Messier 2
- 11 PM, southern sky – Capricornus constellation with the bright star Algedi and the globular cluster Messier 30
