Here are some of the things to see in March:
- 11 pm, southwestern sky – Orion constellation with the bright stars of Orion’s Belt and a number of interesting deep sky objects, including the Orion Nebula, De Mairan’s Nebula, Flame Nebula and Horsehead Nebula
- 9 pm, southern sky – Gemini constellation with the stars Castor and Pollux marking the heads of the celestial twins, and the bright open star cluster Messier 35
- 9 pm, southern sky – Cancer constellation with Praesepe (Messier 44), also known as the Beehive Cluster, one of the nearest clusters to Earth
- 9 pm, southern sky – Hydra, the largest and longest constellation in the sky, with the giant elliptical galaxy NGC 3923 and the famous galaxy Messier 83, also known as the Southern Pinwheel, near the end of Hydra’s tail
